The 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment is fantastically situated within the gated and fully secure Polaris World developed Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort, looking onto one of the famed Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, and part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail.
The apartment forms part of a horse shoe shape round a communal pool, planted with palm and olive trees. Ideal for those hot lazy days. There is secure underground parking for your car with lift access or parking outside the apartment. Although the apartment is on a golf course, there are childrens playgrounds around the course, only a short walk from the apartment.
The other facilities around the course include an adult exercise area, tennis courts and picnic areas. There is a clubhouse, pro-shop and a driving range. There is also a small supermarket on-site which is very well stocked. The old Hacienda building is being restored at the moment and will include shops, restaurants and a spa and is due to be finished during summer 2010.
The apartment is ideal for golfing holidays, providing front line golf on a course which forms part of the much acclaimed Nicklaus Golf Trail. The 18 hole Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus Design is a par 72, 6416m course build to professional standards. The course covers an area of 71 hectares and has a stunning mountain backdrop and panoramic views of the coast. As with all the Polaris World golf courses, they are designed to be enjoyed by both beginners and more experienced players.
Hacienda Riquelme is in the region of Murcia, which is on the Costa Calida. The Climate is wonderful, making it an ideal place for visiting at any time of the year. There are over 14 beaches in the area, some are quiet (Playa Honda), or if you prefer more activities try Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor strip. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the coast.
The apartment is about 20 minutes away from San Javier (Murcia) airport and 60 minutes from Alicante airport. Car hire is available at both airports, advance booking is essential. The Mar Menor (20 min drive) has miles of sandy beaches perfect for children. It is also perfect for water sports, with sailing, kite-surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, cruising, scuba diving, etc all being available from several centres. You can hire a bike and cycle the palm-lined 5km path along the seafront at Los Alcazares, and enjoy the many tapas bars along the way.
The capital city of Murcia is approx a 30 minute drive away and has a cathedral, historic architecture as well as an abundance of shops. Cartagena, with its Roman history, is a 30 minute drive away. The old city has narrow cobbled streets that link with the more open spaces and modern boutique style shops. Inland there are castles and fortresses to visit with the impressive nature reserve and salt lakes at Torrevieja. The luxury 2 bedroom apartment has fantastic views from the balconies. Alfresco dining with a table and chairs and relaxers are all on the main balcony.
The apartment is on the second floor, with ramped access to reach the front door to the building. The apartment is all on one level inside with lift access from ground floor and the underground parking space.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
All bed linen and towels are included in the price. A cleaning charge of 65 euros is payable locally on departure.

Further Details:
Only 5 minutes away from Sucina, a small town with several restaurants, bars and supermarkets. There is also a supermarket which stocks English products and is open until 8pm. The resort also operates a free shuttle to the other resorts owned by Polaris, all just a few miles apart.
The road system is excellent with great beaches only 20 minutes away and historic Murcia or Cartagena approx 30 minutes drive. The whole area is very relaxing and not overly commercialised.
