One bedroom apartment with balcony in a well looked after turn of the century house in the centre of Berlin. It has stripped wooden floors throughout, high ceilings and period features that altogether offer a comfortable, romantic stay in a typical traditional Berlin apartment. The apartment is very light and airy and furnished with a mix of contemporary styles and antique pieces.
The apartment is 200m from the S-Bahn (suburban train system) then 5 minutes on to Potsdamer Platz. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops in immediate neighbourhood and it’s a 10 minute journey to Oranienburger Strasse in Berlin Mitte (sights, bars and nightlife). From here it is very simple to get to the centre of Berlin-West and onto the same line directly to Rudow for a direct bus link to Schoenefeld airport (SXF), and to Jakob Kaiser Platz for the bus directly to Tegel airport (TXL). To Templehof Airport it is only 3 stops on the metro taking approx. 10 minutes. Detailed directions are available on request.
Location is paramount when considering a holiday rental; our flat is in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood, but with incredibly quick and easy access to all the major sights, shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife and all three Berlin airports.
Bedroom:
The queen-sized bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and the room is light and quiet. There is also a large wardrobe and bedside table.

Bathroom:
The new tiled bathroom has a bath tub and a shower.
Living Room:
The spacious lounge has a large comfortable sofabed, dining area for four, cable TV and DVD player with numerous films on DVD. From the living room there are also double doors that lead on to the balcony, planted with herbs and flowers.
Kitchen:
The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with pans, pots, plates, cups and glasses you could need. There is also a washing machine.
Other:
There is also a folding table on the balcony for those who like to eat alfresco.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Towels and bedding are provided. There are no additional charges for towels or sheets, nor will there be a charge for cleaning, all of this will be covered by your rental payment.
Beach:
There are numerous lakes surrounding Berlin that have beaches as well as many beach bars along the River Spree in summer.
Further Details:
The neighbourhood around the flat is very friendly with some lovely, good value, family-run restaurants and cafes. Bergmannstrasse with its independent shops, great bars and cafes is within walking distance as is the well-known Winterfeldtplatz with its fantastic weekend market. Round the corner from here is Nollendorfplatz with its nightlife and boutique shops. And Potsdamer Platz is only 5 minutes away!
