Casa Julima is simply a 'home from home' experience. there are no worries about delicate antiques, expensive ornaments that you spend the whole time panicking the children might touch. This is your holiday home and your comfort has been thought about in everything you can see in the villa. Our philosophy is 'you need not think or worry about anything' - it is all done for you!
Our approach is that all you need to do is pack your clothes nothing else, once you walk through the doors of your holiday home you can relax immediately, kick you shoes off, wander out poolside and sit on the terrace, relax and enjoying the delights that are in your complimentary 'welcome basket' that includes wine, cheese, fresh fruit, bread, water and a selection of local foods ... you're in holiday mood now - and it feels fabulous.
Varandas Da Lago is a private development located between the famous 5* Resorts of Vale Do Lobo and Quinta Da Lago the area is also known as the 'Golden Triangle'.
Daily Maid Service included all year round. We have tried to think of everything that you would need or want for a luxury holiday. There are many extras that have been included in the villa, there is a laptop, Plasma TVs in the lounge and bedrooms, Sky satellite with full Sports package, stereo, CD's, DVD players and about 100 movies, Playstation PS3, games, lots of board games even books and magazines.
The entire villa is fully reverse cycle air conditioning including units in all bedrooms. There is a safe installed in the villa so you can keep you valuables securely contained.

Master bedroom with king size bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds with TV and DVD. Downstairs master bedroom with double bed and TV.

Living Room:
Spacious room with sofas and seating for 6. 42' flat plasma TV, sky sports package, DVD player/CD/Stereo/MP3 player, playstation PS3 and laptop. Dining table seating for 6.
Kitchen:
Espresso coffee machine, hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Other:
Double size balcony with access off upstairs bedrooms. With outdoor table with 4 chairs. Baby cot and high provided free of charge.
The large heated geometric shaped pool with integrated steps into the pool is surrounded by a terrace and paved area - there is a BBQ, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs to enjoy al-fresco dining in the warm evenings. The garden is lawn and flowering shrubs.
The entire property is fenced and completely secure for the little ones to go for a wander there are plenty of toys to play with and keep them amused. In the evening fire up that BBQ - the fresh fish from the Quarteria market is not going to cook itself, sit back on your sun lounger and watch the sun set - its all so easy to forget the rest of the world when you are in your own little paradise).
Golfing weekends can be arranged. Golf Guests can take advantage cheaper golf rates. The courses with discounted rates are: Vale do Lobo Royal, Vale do Lobo Ocean, Quinta da Lago Norte, Quinta do Lago Sul, Vila Sol, Vilamoura Old Course, Vilamoura Millennium, Vilamoura Pinhal, Vilamoura Laguna, Salgados, Benamor, Qinta Da Ria, Quinta de Cima. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Daily maid service included in pricing all year round. All bedding, bath and beach towels provided. Welcome basket provided free of charge on arrival.
Beach:
Ancao Beach is about a 15 minute walk from the villa through the nature reserve (or about a 4 minute drive). A stroll along the beach will take you to Quinta Da Lago or Vale Do Lobo both offering an excellent selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy a few cocktails in!
A morning or afternoon spend wandering the Ria Formosa is a relaxing experience - the area is heritage protected and boasts a number of rare birds, so don't forget your binoculars.

In the villa is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. Before departure for you holiday we provide an e-book with lots of information about the Algarve and Golden Triangle so you start planning your holiday.
The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark and dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits.
In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park 10 minutes drive on the other side of Quateria and a swim with Dolphin experience and Theme Park (30 minutes drive on the Motorway).
Faro town is a 15 minute drive there is a large shopping centre the Forum that offers good facilties for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria and Loule both boast excellent markets that sells both fresh produce and local made prodcuts.
From Varandas Do Lago about 3/4 mile down the main road towards Vale Do Lobo are another good selection of restaurants including the Sao Gabriel - a Michelin star restaurant and the Thai Garden restaurant also highly recommended. I also recommend the several 'beach shack' restaurants collectively known as 'Julias' it is a 3 minute drive from the villa located on the Ancao beach where celebrity spotting is a favourite pastime.
The Quinta da Lago shopping centre is about a mile down the road, here there are many exclusive designers shops and some lovely restaurants/cafes. There is also a Italian restaurant that delivers pizza and pasta (and a bottle of wine) to the villa, the menu is in the folder for those nights that you just can't be bothered.
