La Coveta Fuma is just 30 minutes from Alicante airport, is a small Spanish village nestling in a beautiful green valley between Alicante and Benidorm. Traditionally Spanish and totally unspoilt, Coveta Fuma has safe, sheltered coves that are perfect for children and a sprinkling of bars and restaurants in the village square. It's laid back and peaceful - but not remote, in fact the main Coastal Railway linking Alicante in the North to Denia in the South is just a short stroll away. It's fast, reliable and gloriously cheap and the views are breathtaking, passing through countless towns and villages, Villajoyosa, Altea, and Calpe as well and Benidorm with its non stop nightlife and Alicante with its bustling cosmopolitan harbour, promenade and designer shopping.

Shopping For shopaholics there is a market nearly every day of the week in one or more of the coastal villages and they are all accessable by train. And there is Alicante with its exclusive designer boutiques and shoes to die for.
For beaches, you are spoilt for choice. Coveta has its pretty coves and El Campello a wide sweeping expanse of sand and as El Campello ends San Juan begins and then its soft safe sandy beach for as far as the eye can see - in fact all the way to Alicante and the train literally stops on the beach!
For nightlife Benidorm can't be beaten, theres something for everyone there, all ages and all tastes, theres the old town with its cobbled streets and intimate clubs, theres disco Benidorm for the serious clubbers and theres the strip, masses of cabaret shows featuring non stop entertainment, live bands, comedians, dancers....you name it, its there!
A car is not necessary as Coveta Fuma is on the main coastal railway and is an excellent base for exploring numerous coastal villages, but If you hire a car you can head inland and make for the mountains, Aguas with its charming village square and Busot with its famous caves. Further out there's the Jalon Valley, a visit to the Hallelujah Bar is highly recommended - but not for the driver! And the 17th Century fortress Guadalest with its magnificent castle and ancient streets is not to be missed, as are 'Les Fonts de L'Algar', a stuningly beautiful setting of tiered lakes filled with waterfalls from natural sprigs, icily cold but invigorating. Take a picnic and spend the day, Its perfect.
For golfers there are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca, all within a 2 hour drive of Alicante. 4 are within a 30 minute drive of Elysium Villa.
