One private unit comprising the ground and first floors of David Carnegie's major Victorian addition - the front door, entrance hall, main hall, drawing room, dining room, kitchen and main staircase leading to five en-suite bedrooms. The accommodation is as elegant and peaceful as it was for the original Laird's guests. The modern additions of en-suite facilities make it a little more comfortable for today's guests.
The large entrance hall with oak staircase, leads up to the main hall. The Carnegie crest is displayed in the stained glass window, and the walls are covered with tartans from the local clans. The oak staircase in the main hall leading to the first floor, dominates this hall. Doors lead off to the Drawing Room, and the Dining Room.
